ABSTRACT
The present invention encompasses compositions and methods for effectively treating at least one symptom or sign of methamphetamine use, or for slowing the rate of (+) methamphetamine entry into the brain of a subject. The method comprises administering an effective amount of an anti-(+) methamphetamine antibody to a subject.
CLAIMS
1. An isolated antibody, wherein the antibody specifically binds (+) methamphetamine and comprises:(a) a light chain CDR1 comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 5;(b) a light chain CDR2 comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:6;(c) a light chain CDR3 comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 7;(d) a heavy chain CDR1 comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 8;(e) a heavy chain CDR2 comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 9; and(f) a heavy chain CDR3 comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:10.
