BioVentures Team Participates in AUTM University 2026

Members of the BioVentures team traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina, for AUTM University 2026, held September 15–17 at the Sheraton Charlotte Hotel.

Sarah Heinz, Britney Bobo, Megan Reed, and Allison Thompson represented BioVentures at the three-day professional development event, joining technology transfer professionals from institutions across the country for focused training, hands-on learning, and peer exchange.

AUTM University brings together six specialized courses covering Agreements & Finance, Compliance, Essentials of Tech Transfer, Operations, Software, and Startups. The program combines expert instruction with case studies, shared best practices, and practical tools designed to help technology transfer professionals address challenges throughout the innovation and commercialization process.

Participation in programs such as AUTM University provides the BioVentures team with opportunities to strengthen expertise across technology transfer operations while learning from colleagues working in university innovation offices nationwide. The team will bring insights and resources from the program back to BioVentures as it continues supporting UAMS researchers and moving discoveries toward commercialization.
